60GB NOW DISCONTINUED... SONY SLASHES PRICE WITH NEW 40GB PS3
At $999 for a brand new PS3 console, we guess they had to do something to increase their sales! Unfortunately, the machine has been downgraded as well as reduced in price. The new 40GB system does not have the capacity to play PS2 games, so until they release more PS3 games your choices will be limited.
For $699 the system is still quite good value - the ability to play blu-ray discs in itself normally costs the same price.
If you are after the original 60GB PS3 console (and let's face it if you own lots of PS2 games this system is by far the superior one) you will have to track one down pre-owned. At least Revolution can help you with that! |
